Grades: 10th - Adult. Level 2 - 5. Looking for a mind-body practice that will challenge your whole body while calming your mind? Weight training through the use of your own body weight will increase your lean body mass while improving your stamina, strength, flexibility, balance and body alignment. Various level options will be demonstrated so you can easily create your own practice. Any yoga or Pilates experience is recommended. Practiced barefoot. You just need a mat and water bottle. Instructor: Victoria Cendrowski, M.Ed, over 45 years experience. 9 classes. (8/18 reserved for makeup class).

Whether you're a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, our experienced instructor will guide you through the fundamentals of the game, including rules, techniques, and strategies. The "Introduction to Pickleball" class is tailored for students who are interested in learning the fundamentals of playing pickleball. During the class, students will be taught various technical skills, including forehand and backhand groundstrokes, serves, lobs, overheads, dinks, and proper footwork. In addition, students will have the opportunity to understand the basic rules, strategies, and court positioning necessary for doubles play. Wear comfortable clothing and athletic footwear. 10th grade - Adult. Now that you have learned the basics of Pickleball, let’s get down to business in this class. Building on your understanding of pickleball we will work on improving your skills and strategy. With the guidance of a certified pickleball trainer you will focus on refining your strokes, mastering placement and enhancing court position to elevate your game to the next level. Grades: 10th - Adult. Level 1 - 5. Get a full body workout! Challenge your speed, strength and stamina. Circuits include strength work and bursts of high intensity interval training (Hiit). GROOVE is a part of the World Groove Movement that is dedicated to spreading the joy of dance in a unique way that makes dance fun and easy for all shapes, sizes, abilities and fitness levels. GROOVE is a simple, creative, and intuitive facilitated group dance experience. Since every ‘body’ is different, we believe that the way you move IS the right way and you won't know how you can move until you try. There is no need for a dance background, no choreography to follow, not striving to be perfect. GROOVE provides a yummy opportunity for you to get in touch with your authentic and creative self with music. Join our twice weekly Women's Strength Training Class, a transformative program specifically designed to help women of all ages build muscle, increase bone density, and achieve lifelong vitality. As we age, maintaining muscle mass becomes crucial. One of the greatest benefits of strength training for women is its positive impact on bone density. Our classes teach proper form and execution of weight-bearing exercises that are proven to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and fractures. Grades: 10th - Adult. Level 3 - 5. Introducing hula hooping with a twist! You’ll enjoy being a kid again while working every part of your body in this amazing work out! No experience is necessary, our expert instructor will have you ‘up and hooping’ in no time! Step by step Kay will show you how to work the hoop on each part of your body. This NO IMPACT workout is not only fun, but also provides an abundance of health benefits. In this one hour class, you will burn calories, build core and back strength, strengthen and tone all of your muscles, improve cardiovascular endurance, flexibility and balance. Side effects of hooping include a youthful outlook, reduced stress and improved mood, as well as fostering your creativity and self-expression. Please make sure to bring a water bottle and a hoop, if you have one. If you do not have a hoop, there will be a limited number available to use at class. Grades: 12th - Adult. Level 1-3. Learn the basic movements of the Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do: punches, kicks, blocks, and stances, while improving balance, flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, and strength, in a safe, fun, and encouraging environment. Learn to easily defend against wrist grabs and other basic self-defense methods. Adults of all ages are welcome. Class will be taught concurrently with intermediate adult students but with its own instructor, so some activities such as warmup will be taught together while some activities will be taught separately. If you’ve always wanted to try martial arts this is the perfect way to start. Participants should be prepared to remove their shoes or have indoor shoes only for use on the mats. Grades: 10th - Adult. Level 1 - 4. Most of our movement originates from our central core, even the simple act of picking up a pencil from the floor. Our core is pivotal in connecting and protecting the upper body, lower body, and spine. Keeping the musculature of the core strong is essential to our ability to carry out simple daily tasks with stability and ease. In this class you will work on strengthening your transverse, rectus, and oblique abdominal muscles as well as the glutes, thighs, and hip muscles - the entire pelvic girdle - to help strengthen your back muscles and protect spinal movement.
